Coach Brian Skouras brings 38 years of athletic and coaching experience to help busy professionals achieve goals they once thought impossible. A lifelong endurance athlete and former cyclist who began racing in Italy at 18, Brian has competed and coached across cycling, triathlon, running, ultrarunning, and 29029. His coaching blends structured endurance training with strength, nutrition, and mindset work—all designed to fit real-life schedules. Whether preparing for a first 5K, marathon, ultra, or 29029 event, Brian believes everyday people can accomplish extraordinary things with the right plan, the right mindset, and a coach who truly believes in them.
Brian was a competitive cyclist in Europe earlier in life. More recently, he has completed the Marine Corps Marathon, Eugene Marathon, Publix Atlanta Marathon, the Georgia Southern 100K, the Yonah Mountain 50K, and 29029 Snowbasin.
Brian employs a framework that covers training structure, nutrition, mindset, and pacing — the four pillars required to succeed in major endurance events.

"Coach Brian is a top level coach. He was able to work within my available time to help me achieve my running goals. I was able to confidently complete my first Ultra Marathon with his help. Not only did his training plan help guide me but the wisdom and knowledge he shared with me was invaluable. He knew when to push me and when to hold me back. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that is serious about hitting their goals."

At 29029, we call it 'experience' coaching because it’s about more than just training—it’s about embracing a journey. We believe in big adventures, the kind that challenge limits and inspire growth. Every athlete’s path is unique, and we celebrate that journey as much as the finish line. Our coaching reflects an aspirational lifestyle, where the pursuit of experiences becomes part of who you are, not just what you do. We’re all explorers—seeking new heights, new challenges, and new versions of ourselves. Experience coaching means guiding athletes to live boldly, embrace adventure, and discover what they’re truly capable of.
Why should I hire a coach?
In the world of endurance adventures, the options are endless, but hard to navigate. Most of us need help. A plan. A support system and community. And most importantly a coach to guide us, hold us accountable, and keep us focused.
How does online coaching work?
Working with a dedicated 1-1 coach online via video, text, and email can be a far more efficient way to achieve the results you're looking for. You spend less time and money coordinating schedules with your trainer, and more time focusing on your daily workout/nutrition plan, and overcoming any hurdles you face.
How is an online coach different from a traditional coach?
Unlike conventional trainers that charge per session, 29029 coaches provide unlimited workouts, Q+A, and accountability whenever you need it for a flat monthly membership fee.
What if my coach isn’t a good fit for me? Can I change?
Absolutely. We know how important it is to click with your coach. Before you begin, you'll share a lot about your preferences, goals, and limitations so our team can match you with the coach we think is best for you. If you ever want to try someone else, just let us know and we'll work with you to find the perfect fit.
How will my coach help me with nutrition?
Many of our coaches have advanced nutrition credentials. Your coach can provide feedback on what you're doing well and where there is room for improvement. We also host regular community-wide expert calls with nutrition coaches that include Q+A to help you get the guidance you need.
What kinds of workouts will I do?
Any kinds of workouts you'd like! Let your coach know what your favorite types of exercise are and they'll build those into your personalized plans.
Can’t I get the same results on my own?
In our experience, nothing replaces the effectiveness of a real, human coach to guide you, motivate you, and keep you on track. The modern world provides too many distractions to lose focus if you don't have that accountability partner with you at all times to maintain consistency. Working with a coach ensures that the work you put in is actually leading to the outcomes you desire.
Why is there a membership fee?
29029 Experience Coaching is for individuals ready to invest in a complete wellness support network, including a dedicated coach, community, and access to experts. We invest heavily in the onboarding experience for new members to make sure you are matched with the best possible coach for your preferences, goals, and limitations, who then works closely with you in your first month to begin to design the optimal program for you.
Do I need to have a gym membership?
No. Your coach will design a custom plan to suit your situation. Your personalized workouts will incorporate whatever equipment, space, and time is available to you. The goal is to create a convenient and realistic workout plan that you can stick with.
Is there a minimum commitment?
To ensure meaningful results, we ask new athletes to begin with a six-month commitment. Your coaching experience should always feel aligned and supported — if at any time it doesn’t, reach out and we’ll personally help you transition to a coach who’s a better fit for your goals.
